Limited stock available. The PetSafe Staywell 760 Large Dog Flap is a tried-and-tested large pet door with a white frame and clear rigid flap. Designed for larger dogs, it provides straightforward, reliable access to the garden without electronics, batteries or complicated controls.

The Staywell 760 includes a removable internal closing panel to prevent your dog from using the door when required, together with a tunnel section for installations in doors up to approximately 50mm (2") thick.

Large Staywell Dog Door for Everyday Use

The Staywell 760 is part of PetSafe's long-established Staywell range of dog doors. Its simple mechanical design makes it a practical choice when you want to give a larger dog independent access without relying on batteries, collar keys or electronic controls.

The white frame gives the door a clean appearance and works particularly well with white uPVC and painted timber doors. The clear rigid flap allows your dog to see through the opening before passing through it.

Removable Internal Closing Panel

The Staywell 760 is supplied with an internal slide-in closing panel. This can be fitted whenever you want to stop your dog using the pet door.

The panel is particularly useful:

• At night when your dog needs to remain indoors
• During very cold or windy weather
• When you're away from home
• When working or cleaning outside
• Whenever you need to temporarily restrict your dog's access

The closing panel is intended to control pet access and should not be regarded as a security device against people.

Supplied with Tunnel

The PetSafe Staywell 760 includes a tunnel section suitable for doors up to approximately 50mm (2") thick. The tunnel lines the opening through the door, covering the cut edges and creating a cleaner passage for your pet.

The dog door may also be installed into suitable thicker doors, panels or walls, but installations beyond the depth of the supplied tunnel will require an appropriate additional lining to form the passage through the opening.

Suitable for Larger Dogs

With an opening designed for dogs with a maximum shoulder width of approximately 290mm, the Staywell 760 is intended for larger dogs.

Measure your dog before ordering. Breed alone is not a reliable way to select a dog door because dogs of the same breed can vary significantly in height, weight and shoulder width.

Fitting the Staywell 760 Dog Flap

The required cut-out size is approximately 370mm x 314mm. Check all measurements against the product and manufacturer's fitting instructions before cutting your door.

Accurate cutting is particularly important with a large pet door. The frame should fit securely around the opening, and suitable sealant should be used where required to help create a neat, weather-resistant installation.

Can the Staywell 760 Be Fitted into a Composite Door?

The Staywell 760 may be fitted into many suitable composite doors, but the construction of the door must be checked before cutting.

Pay particular attention to decorative mouldings and the position of the internal slide-in closing panel. The closing panel is inserted from above, so sufficient clearance is required above the dog door.

Any exposed core or cut edges of a composite door should be properly protected and sealed against moisture.

Important Security Information

A large dog flap creates a substantial opening through your door. It is designed to provide access for your pet and will not prevent a person from reaching or potentially passing through the opening.

Before installation, consider the position of the dog flap in relation to:

• Internal and external door handles
• Keys left in locks
• Thumb-turn cylinders
• Door locking mechanisms
• Nearby windows

Small children may also be able to pass through a dog door of this size and should be supervised appropriately.
